A couple nights ago I watched the GOP debate on Bloomberg and I was really impressed with a series of ads that ran during the commercial breaks.
From what I can tell the Peterson Foundation is a non-partisan organization. Their mission statement reads:
Our mission is to increase public awareness of the nature and urgency of key fiscal challenges threatening America's future and to accelerate action on them. To address these challenges successfully, we work to bring Americans together to find and implement sensible, long-term solutions that transcend age, party lines and ideological divides in order to achieve real results.
While I'm usually against kids being used in advertisements, the Peterson Foundation actually did a good job and it worked well.
Now if only the rest of America could adopt an attitude as sensible as these ads.
