I thought it would be fun to list the songs that are referenced in my book The Fall of Man: Days of Judgment . In a way, it's sort of the "soundtrack" of the novel. One of the things with self-publishing is that you start off treading water in the middle of the ocean... which can be pretty demoralizing. Which is why I thought I'd share something I stumbled on the other day. I subscribe to MrSuicideSheep on YouTube (which has about 3.7M subscribers). As I'm prepping to write my next book I'm always on the look-out for new music. So I was pleased to find this video by a band (Leotheband) who I have no idea who they are, but man they are talented. They are a great example of how amazing talent is out there yet to be discovered. I'm sure at some point they will break through (ironically it won't be because of the music industry, but because of things like YouTube) and become a huge hit.
